Aruba Wine & Dine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance & Repair Manager to oversee all aspects of our maintenance, repair, and construction processes while ensuring cost-effectiveness. As the Maintenance & Repair Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, optimizing maintenance budgets, and leading a team of dedicated technicians.
Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for all facets of maintenance, repair, and construction processes within our organization.
Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
Manage and lead a team of three (3) M&R technicians and one (1) cooling engineer, providing guidance, training, and support.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and within budget.
Monitor and control maintenance costs, working closely with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to negotiate competitive pricing.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement appropriate measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including documentation of repairs, inspections, and equipment maintenance schedules.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments and stakeholders to address maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar Maintenance & Repair Manager position, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality industry.
HBO degree or similar operating level in a relevant field.
Strong financial acumen with excellent cost-control and budget management skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Demonstrated hands-on mentality and ability to effectively lead a team.
Local resident or valid work permit for Aruba.
