HR Officer (part-time)

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time HR Officer. This position requires approximately 28 to 32 hours per week and will primarily involve administrative tasks.


The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of the permit application process (DIMAS) and be able to work with a structured approach.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administrative aspects of the HR department, including documentation, data entry, and record keeping.

  • Handle the permit application process (DIMAS), ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing contracts, conducting orientations, and facilitating exit interviews.

  • Support recruitment efforts by posting job vacancies, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews.

  • Assist in organizing and conducting employee training programs.

  • Address employee queries and provide timely responses in a professional manner.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure HR processes are executed smoothly.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company policies and procedures and provide guidance to employees when needed.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Spanish, Papiamentu, and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in all three languages.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a structured manner, paying attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Proficiency in using HR software and systems for data management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.

  • Familiarity with permit application processes, particularly DIMAS, is highly desirable.

  • Prior experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred but not essential.
