Aruba Wine and Dine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our team. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various HR functions, including team management, payroll processing, administrative tasks, permit application processes, and recruitment strategies. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with exceptional leadership skills and a strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the HR team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Oversee the payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Handle administrative tasks related to HR, such as maintaining employee records, preparing reports, and managing HR systems.
Coordinate and oversee permit application processes for employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and acquire new staff members.
Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, participate in the selection process, and onboard new employees.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with any changes and implementing necessary policies and procedures.
Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Develop and implement employee development programs, training initiatives, and performance appraisal systems.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements & Experience:
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges effectively.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR practices.
Minimum education level: HBO or similar operating level in a relevant field.
5+ years of experience in a similar management role, preferably in the hospitality or related industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (US).
